Career, Education, & Opportunities (CEO)
If you haven’t been asked yet where you want to go to college or what you want to do with your career, you will soon. Baxter wants to help you find an answer to those questions. That’s why we’ve partnered with the Indiana Hemophilia & Thrombosis Center to create Career, Education, & Opportunities (CEO) for the teen hemophilia and clotting disorder community.
CEO is a one-day session that we hold in conjunction with treatment centers nationwide to help you get ready for "the real world." Life skills that we cover include:
- Career assessment
- Goal setting
- Financial planning
You will also get the chance to spend the day with local people your own age who will face the same challenges you will as you build a family and a career.
If you would like to attend a CEO program in your area, talk to your treatment center. Baxter will be honored to facilitate the day’s activities for you and other people your age getting ready for the next step.
