Self-Infusion Kit

The Self-Infusion Kit is an educational tool to help you start your own factor replacement. The kit encourages you to work with your caregivers, family members, your physician or treatment center, and others toward developing a more independent lifestyle.
Packaged in an easy-to-carry drawstring bag, the kit contains a variety of helpful materials, including:

- You Finish First with Self-Infusion! A Game Plan for Self-Infusion: a description of the self-infusion process
- Tabletop Flipchart: step-by-step instructions and photos of the self-infusion process
- Infusion CD/DVD: step-by-step instructions and video about self-infusion, including tips and personal stories from kids, caregivers, and nurses
- Bleeding and Infusion Log: a tool to document bleeds and infusions
- Treatment Log Entry Forms
- Tools to Use at Infusion Time: a Factor Mat, race car squeeze ball, tourniquet, and educational activities
- Emergency Contact Card: an information card for your car’s visor to notify and instruct others of a passenger with hemophilia in case of an accident
